2013-2014 SEASON STUDENT DRESS REHEARSALS
Florida Grand Opera proudly invites over a thousand middle and high school students and teachers to the final Dress Rehearsal of each main stage opera at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Students enjoy a full performance as the music, staging and lighting are rehearsed for the last time before Opening Night! Florida Grand Opera also offers teacher workshops designed to help integrate these dress rehearsals into existing classroom curriculums.
Reservations are free and open to all Miami-Dade and Broward Public Schools. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Private and Home schools may contact FGO’s Group Sales about available performance opportunities.

DRESS REHEARSALS: RESERVATION FORM
FGO DRESS REHEARSAL POLICY
Only reserve the amount of tickets that will be used. All unused tickets must be returned to the FGO Education Department two (2) weeks before the performance. Schools that no show or reserve more tickets than are used will not be allowed to continue in the program.
On the Reservation Form, please indicate the number of students and chaperones you would like to request per production. We will provide one chaperone ticket for every 4 students attending. Adult chaperones will only be admitted with a “chaperone ticket.”
Please bear in mind that we will do our best to accommodate your preferences, but due to overwhelming demand, we cannot guarantee that you will receive all the tickets requested. You will be contacted via email prior to each opera indicating how many tickets have been allocated to your school and when the tickets will be mailed.
Please treat the rehearsal as a performance: all teachers and students should arrive at the Adrienne Arsht Center by 7:15 PM so that they can be seated before the rehearsal begins.
Please turn off cell phones, remain silent and leave quietly if you need to before the end. The use of cameras or recording devices of any kind is prohibited.
The rehearsal will last three hours with 15 minute intermissions between acts. Please remove students quickly if they become disruptive. Teachers are responsible for students at all times.
