Thank you for auditioning for Florida Grand Opera. Please click on the appropriate links for each of the cities (New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Miami) to see if you have been granted an audition. We did our best to honor each applicant's preferred date/time for an audition, but needed to take the schedules of all applicants as well as the audition panel. If you are on one of the lists, please confirm by emailing cschieve@fgo.org before October 11 (San Francisco/Chicago) or October 20 (New York/Miami) to secure your spot. Ms. Schieve will respond so you know that she received your message. If you do not email, or follow through should you not receive a response to one sent, your spot will be released for an alternate.
A pianist is provided, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Other than music for the pianist, no other materials are needed. If you have changed the arias you are offering from those on the application, please bring two typed copies.
We listened to over 500 applicants and look forward to hearing approximately 250 in-person auditions. Unfortunately, due to time constraints we are unable to give reasons as to why you were not granted an audition this season.
