Volunteer Opportunities
Ever wanted to take a behind-the-scenes look at opera? Volunteering is the perfect way to do just that! The company has an assortment of different volunteer opportunities available that will let you gain practical experience in the arts. For high school and college students, hours can be certified for volunteer or internship credits.

Below are the types of volunteer opportunities available:
ADMINISTRATIVE
There’s always need for administrative assistance at Florida Grand Opera’s headquarters. Lend your admin skills and gain office experience as you assist with tasks such as: answering phones, filing, data entry, etc. Related positions are typically available during business hours, 9am to 5pm on Monday through Friday.
EVENT STAFF
Florida Grand Opera hosts a series of community and private events throughout the season to get patrons truly engaged. If you’re interested in event experience, volunteer with us and help with: event set-up and break down, registration, logistics, etc. These positions require availability during events and/or weekends.
DEPARTMENTS
In addition to the admin and event positions, each department within the company has specific volunteer needs that differ throughout the season. These departments include:
